The Story Behind Bristol Wall Art

I was born and raised in Bristol, and although photography is a fairly recent chapter for me, the connection to the city has always been there.

Bristol Wall Art began when I started taking photographs of the city and reimagining them as artwork for my own home. After displaying a few pieces, friends and family began asking for copies of their own and suggesting other Bristol locations they would love to see transformed into wall art.

What started as a personal project soon became a way to share my view of Bristol with others.

In just a few short months, around twenty Bristol Wall Art pieces have found new homes in houses, apartments, offices and workspaces across Bristol. Some have even travelled further afield to people who grew up in Bristol and wanted a lasting reminder of a city that still holds a special place in their hearts.

Every artwork begins with an original Bristol photograph before being carefully developed into a finished piece of wall art. My aim is simple: to create artwork that captures the character, atmosphere and spirit of the city I love. Today, Bristol Wall Art continues to grow with new collections inspired by the city’s landmarks, streets and hidden corners.
